Text Box: 	We’re happy to announce that, by the grace of God, one of our long-term goals has finally been met.
	We are going to have an advertisement in an up-coming issue of ‘Anglican Digest.’ 
	Anglican Digest is a well known publication of the Anglican ministry venue, Hillspeak, located in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. 
Text Box: 	Rather similar to ‘Reader’s Digest’ of more secular fame, this small devotional publication has an overall circulation of some 40,000+ persons.
	Besides the Digest, Hillspeak maintains lovely guest quarters suitable for use in retreat ministry, they maintain ‘The Anglican Book Club’ and produce their own Text Box: publications, as well as ‘Operation Pass Along,’ which provides books, vestments and liturgical items to impoverished ministries that otherwise might not be able to have their own.
	We’re grateful to God for the opportunity to reach out to our fellow Anglicans and others with our beautiful and blessed charism. 
Text Box: forty days because each Sunday represents a "mini-Easter" celebration of Jesus' victory over sin and death. This season is marked by fasting, both from foods and festivities, and by other acts of penance. The three traditional practices to be taken Text Box: up with renewed vigor during Lent are prayer (justice towards God), fasting (justice towards self), and almsgiving (justice towards neighbor). Many give the time or money spent doing that to charitable purposes or organizations. 	
Text Box: 	Lent is the forty-day period (or season) lasting from Ash Wednesday to Holy Thursday. The forty days represents the time Jesus spent in the desert, where he endured the temptation of Satan. The six Sundays in Lent are not counted in the Text Box: you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."                [Luke 14:12-15]
