Formally established in Buckinghamshire, U.K. in 1992, the Quiet Garden Trust exists to promote and make available ‘step-aside’ retreats in pastoral, meditative, bucolic settings all around Text Box: the world. These Eden-like spaces are set aside for the weary traveler to rest and pray, without the expense, stress or time involved in a more traditional retreat. Each one is unique, and may be hosted in private homes and gardens, in retreat centers, local churches, or even in urban areas. This gentle ministry reflects wonderfully both the charism of Little Gidding and the integrative nature of Text Box: Benedictine spirituality.
